Our Partnership with StopNCII.org

At Cyber Security Canada NFP O/A Victims of Cybercrime, we are committed to protecting individuals from the harmful effects of
non-consensual intimate image (NCII) abuse.
We are proud to announce that we are a supporting partner of StopNCII, a global online tool dedicated to the protection of individuals over the age of 18 through the detection and blocking of NCII.

About StopNCII.org

StopNCII.org is an initiative by the South West Grid for Learning Trust (SWGfL), a registered charity in the United Kingdom. Their mission is to provide a safe and secure platform for individuals to report NCII incidents and seek assistance. By leveraging advanced technology and a network of trusted partners such as Facebook, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, OnlyFans, Threads, and more, StopNCII.org aims to prevent the spread of NCII and support victims in reclaiming their privacy and dignity.

How it works

StopNCII.org provides a secure and efficient way to report and remove non-consensual intimate images (NCII). Here’s how it works:

Select Content

Choose the intimate images or videos you want to report from your device.

Generate a Hash

StopNCII.org will create a digital fingerprint, called a hash, of the selected content on your device. This hash is a unique code that represents the content without uploading the actual image or video.

Submit Your Case

Once your case is created, you will receive a case number and a PIN to check the status of your case. Make sure to securely note these details as they are not recoverable.

Content Detection

Participating companies will use the hash to identify and remove any matching content from their platforms if it violates their intimate image abuse policy.

Ongoing Monitoring

StopNCII.org will continue to monitor participating websites for matches to the hash and take action as needed.

Check Progress

You can use your case number to check the progress of your case at any time or withdraw it if necessary.
